Electro therapy

ultrasound
DD, TENS and IF currents

Physical therapy uses various physical stimuli, such as ultrasound, electric currents or heat, to treat pain, inflammation, muscle tension or nervous system disorders. Physical therapy is often combined with other forms of physiotherapy for optimal effect.

Ultrasound is a form of sound with a frequency above the upper limit of a person's ability to hear, i.e. above 20 kHz. In medicine, ultrasound is used to diagnose and treat a variety of ailments. In therapy, ultrasound is used to treat inflammation, regenerate tissues, relieve pain and improve microcirculation.

DD stands for dyadic currents, which are special electrical currents used in electrotherapy. These currents stimulate nerves and muscles and help reduce pain, improve blood flow and tissue regeneration.

IF stands for interferential currents, which are electrical currents made up of a combination of two or more alternating currents with different frequencies. These currents are used in electrotherapy to relieve pain, regenerate tissue and improve mobility.

TENS stands for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. It is a therapeutic method in which electrical currents are applied to the body via electrodes. This method is often used to relieve pain and stimulate muscles.
