Mgr. Johana Šťastná

She graduated in Physiotherapy at Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport.

After graduation she gained experience in Prague, from 2012-2017 at the Rehabilitation Clinic Malvazinky and then at ORP Centrum s.r.o. under the guidance of MUDr. Picek.

After returning to her hometown, she worked at the Regional Hospital Liberec, a.s. in the Department of Ambulatory Care and ARO.

In 2018-2022 she worked as a physiotherapist at the Army Sports Centre Dukla Liberec, where she helped top athletes (national team and juniors of the Czech Republic) during training, after injuries, with recovery after performances and injuries, as well as at the World Cup and Olympic Games competitions.

After five years of working with top athletes, she decided to return to the private sector with the aim of helping and being available to the general public again. She is also the co-owner and lead physiotherapist of Rehab Liberec s.r.o.

Prevention is the key, according to her. That is why she prefers to work with people who want to learn how to feel their body better and thus minimize overload not only during performance or recreational sports, but also overload when playing a musical instrument or normal work or daily activities.

In exaggeration, she says that her goal in physiotherapy is not to prepare the client for one victory in the Jizera 50 race, but to learn how to treat their body so that clients can stand at the start of this race at an older age.
